A Self-Assessment Framework for Global Supply Chain Operations

This research developed an effective supply chain management (SCM) operation model and a corresponding diagnostic methodology in the global competitive environment by combining three phases methodologies. In Phases 1, list of impact factors was collected from relevant studies, hierarchy for current complex issue established. Phase 2, expert survey conducted enhancing content effectiveness model. Subsequently, analytic process (AHP) applied to determine weights those factors. 3, self-assessment framework examine SCM. Finally, case analyzed verify scales. The results show that concept SCM tends be broader more comprehensive than traditional one. Especially coordination cooperation between market, organization itself suppliers, while using information technology as communication tool.
